Voice over


The voice-over is everywhere. On the radio, on TV, between two videos on the internet, in stores, in stations, when you listen to your audiobooks, your podcasts, …

She sells, she advises, she animates, she explains, she moves… She is the vocal identity of the characters of your cartoons, your films and series but also of your products (in ad.). It can be very intimate to us and leave a lasting mark on us. We don’t forget the voices of our favorite characters.

And who has never imitated the inclinations and timbre of commercial voice-over?

I was Ty Pennington in “Les Maçons du cœur”, Andy Cohen in “The story of reality TV”, Antoni in “Queer Eye”, etc … In short, I think I understood what voice over is. 😉

Doing voice over is doing dubbing without necessarily having lip sync. We lower the volume of the original soundtrack and the actor records the voice over it. We find this type of dubbing a lot in documentaries, reality TV and interviews.
